"MAP OF MALAYSIA" (or a “Sign”) in the sky at sunset was taken by Pastor Lam Kee Hing (who was a key speaker) during the 14th Gempuru Besai Kristian Jaku Iban Malaysia (GBKJIM or Annual General Assembly of Iban-speaking Christians) held at Divisional Civic Centre in Sri Aman in September 2010.
ANPM Kedang wish to thank Pastor Lam Kee Hing for the spiritual message and his permission in allowing the photograph above to be published in this blog and to be used in ANPMK's brouchre. Pastor Lam Kee Hing (of Corner Stone Resources in Sabah) is a well known Christian speaker and trainer. He is reachaable via emails: shalommedia@gmail.com & crbresources@yahoo.com
Believers viewed the “Sign” as "prophetic" of “Another Waves Of Future Spiritual Revival And Transformation” in the country including Kalimantan Indonesia which would start some where from and spread out of Sri Aman Division Sarawak.
Why Sri Aman?
Based on history, Sri Aman formerly known as Second Division was the first frontier settlements primarily of Dayak-Ibans when they first migrated out from central Kapuas region in Kalimantan into Sarawak more than a century ago. Geograhically Kumpang River (with its watershed from Kedang Mountain complex) was the natural main gateway of migration from Kapuas into Sarawak. Later the migration spread downward through Kumpang River valleys in Engkilili then to various localities in Batang Ai (Lubok Antu) and Batang Undop (Batu Lintang) all of which are in present day Sri Aman Division.
The sign or "Map of Malaysia" which appeared and captured during the 14th Annual GBKJIM held in Sep. 2010 was symbolic and prophetic that Sri Aman Division would be the epicentre for the forthcoming spiritual revival and transformation among local Christian communities, particularly the Iban tribe in Sarawak as well as in Kalimantan. In so far as Second (Sri Aman) Division was concerned which was and is the concentration of Iban settlements, the Anglican Missionary under SPG started in Banting in February 1854 which expanded upstream to Sabu (St. Lawrence Church/school) in 1863, and to Simanggang (St. Luke’s Church/school) on 28.8.1873.
Why Iban tribe?
Many prophecies about future spiritual revival in Sarawak would begin with the Ibans who were the majority tribal group and became the main focus of the earliest Christian missionary work under Society for Propagation of Gospel (SPG) which started as early as in 1848.
However evangelism among the Ibans was never really able to achieve desirable success then because of their fierce resistance in view of their involvement with bravery culture of head hunting. Christianity was being viewed then as destructive element toward the cruel practice.
Subsequently, Christian evangelism shifted focus into other indigenous tribal groups of the Orang Ulu such as Lun Bawang, Kelabit, Kenyah etc... who lived in mountainous areas of north Sarawak bordering East Kalimantan in 1934 by Evangelical Mission. The acceptance of the Gospel by the Orang Ulu communities resulted in massive spiritual revival leading to transformation in their lives from animistic beliefs and cultures to salvation in Christ Jesus.
Why the focus is shifting back to Iban communities?
Although being still the majority group in Sarawak (until now) and mostly “Christians” by religious beliefs, elements of syncretism override Christ-centred beliefs and practices. Because of syncretism, spiritual revival is very necessary to experience the fullness of Christ’s promises. It has been the prayer of many since the early days of missionary in Borneo that the Iban communities would experience the fullness of God’s salvation and blessings through Christ Jesus. In this connection, it is the vision and mission of ANPM Kedang ministry to realize God’s plan in the “kairos” of the forthcoming revival.
The search for suitable site to establish prayer mountain ministry centre started in 2003 until 2006 along Sarawak-Kalimantan Border particularly around the watershed region of upper Ketungau River in Klingkang Range (opposite Lachau Pantu Sarawak) until Bukit Besai (opposite Lubok Antu Sarawak) through to upper Merakai River upward to Kedang Mountain complex. Finally the suitable site was found in 2006 and established in 2009 at Kedang Mountain complex by uppermost part of Merakai River in Kalimantan side of the border with Sarawak.
All Nations Prayer Mountain Kedang ministry centre is strategic and prophetic as it is located in the uppermost part of Kumpang River (in Sarawak) and Merakai River (in Kalimantan) thus signifies the return of Dayak communities living in both sides of the border into the Kingdom of God.
Throughout the search between 2003 and 2006, only believers in Kedang Village responded positively in setting up prayer centre permanently albeit they were relatively small in numbers. God responded to people because of their hearts not numbers. Through intercessional prayers between 2006 and 2009, it was clear that the suitable site was at the watershed regions in Kedang Mountain complex in the uppermost Merakai River. Three years after 2006 and after much prayers and deliberations, it was finally decided that a prayer house should be built thereat. Why it took three years because there was a hesitation initially that the structure(s) might become just monumental instead of impactful spiritual movement. Upon confirmations through prayers, prophecies, and visions the first wooden block of prayer house was built and completed in 2010.

Below is a picture of the 3rd Uppermost Water Fall in the uppermost part of Merakai River located by the Prayer House. The waterfall symbolizes the outflow of spiritual revival and transformation from ANPM Kedang into both sides of Sarawak and Kalimantan.
